Technically challenging, the construction of the World War II Museum in GdaNsk involved special foundation and underwater construction techniques as practically all the structure is below the existing ground level. Soletanche Polska therefore designed and built one of the most extraordinary construction pits ever in Poland and probably in the world. This outstanding performance earned Soletanche Polska the 2014 Tytan Prize awarded by the Polish Federation of Foundation Contractors.
